Oscars 2017 Predicitons - Best Supporting Actor - Nominations, Announcement and Films

It has been a great start of this season of Academy Awards also known as Oscars 2017. There are many categories lined up for this season.Till now we have been talking about all the categories which are famous among Oscar Lovers like Best Picture, Best Director, Best Actor, Best Actress and much more. Now is the turn to get to know about the Predictions of Best Supporting Actor.

This Time the concern of viewer for the Best Supporting Actor Award seems to be low as compared to the previous season of Oscars Awards. The nominees for this race are new faces in the list of nominations.Also, this is the most uncertain category on our list of Oscars Awards 2017.

Who will be the Winner of Best Supporting Actor Award 2017?

Continuing with the competitors of Best Supporting Actor Awards 2017.
There are Mahershala Ali's and Lucas Hedges as the strong contenders of this race.
Mahershala Ali is the odd man out here, being the freshest face here. His performance in Moonlight has been an awesome break for him in the film industries after his work in the daily soaps. Mahershala Ali is in a comfortable lead right now over Lucas Hedges. After his difficult role of a tender drug dealer and helpful mentor in "Moonlight". Ali is leading by 20 Oscars Expert votes. The irony is he never been nominated at the Oscars before.

Lucas Hedges is in the second place but also is a strong competitor to Mahershala Ali in this race. After his break as a playing high school student who must move in with his dour uncle in New England in "Manchester by the Sea". He is in the race of Oscars Best Supporting Actor with 7 Oscars Expert votes.

The third position in the contest is grabbed by Jeff Bridges for "Hell or High Water.". Bridges have 5 Oscars Expert votes to his name after playing a role of retiring Texas Ranger looking for two bank robber. He already won Oscars Best Actor Award in 2009 after his break in Crazy Heart among his six career nominations.The other films are "The Last Picture" (1971), "Thunderbolt and Lightfoot" (1974), "Starman" (1984), "The Contender" (2000) and "True Grit" (2010).

The fourth spot is held by the potential Indian First-timer Dev Patel for "Lion" with 4 Oscars Expert votes. After his work in Slumdog Millionaire, He performed as an adopted man in Australia still looking for his birth family in India many years Later. Slumdog Millionaire also won the Oscars Awards for Best Picture in 2009.
